My Kinja has been displaying wrong for months now. I'm finally going to do something about it. Which is to ask you what the hell do I do about it? Here's a screenshot for your amusement.
As you can see, all the icons are replaced with letters, numbers, and symbols. Right bracket for my notifications, "1" for star, "t" for insert image.
I keep expecting it to be fixed, but it never is. It's not like this at home, only at work. Using Chrome. Certain things at work are blocked, I'm wondering if wherever they're hosting their icons is blocked or something? None of the rest of the sites are blocked (except Kotaku, because games). The only other browser I have is IE8 (I know, blame IT) and it's a complete disaster, much, much worse.
Not a huge deal, but definitely frustrating. Am I the only one having this issue?

It happens sometimes on my phone but only when the internet quality is shitty.

Looks like it's not loading the stylesheet. No clue how to fix it though. I'm assuming you've tried ignore cache reloading (ctrl-F5).
Does the same thing happen in incognito mode?

Incognito does the same thing, and hard reload doesn't change it either. Both good ideas though, I hadn't tried either yet.

Weird, probably gremlins.
Can you reinstall or is that prevented by policy? If a wipe doesn't fix it it's probably an enterprise thing. Here I can't use any of the built in formatting things (pictures, links, quotes, font size) due to something upstream...I can edit in the html mode though and access it all. It's weird.

I could reinstall Chrome, I'm not sure it's worth it though. It works well enough. I just have to remember what everything is, or hover until the tooltip pops up.
